Heather Ruth Pack loves history and particularly enjoys digging into the context, meaning, and personal application of the scriptural stories. With her gift of storytelling and decades of feasting on the words of Christ, she researches and writes the scripts for the YouTube channel Messages of Christ. Together with Daniel Smith, the producer for Messages of Christ, they work together to help people better hear, come, and know the Savior through these videos. Heather also is a key contributor to the Reading Plans for the ScripturePlus app, taking her gift for teaching to guide users through personalized learning experiences. She also helps with many other tasks from editing to app design consultation.
In her personal life, Heather loves hosting Biblical events to help transport people into the context of the stories of the Bible. She has hosted and participated in Passover, Jewish Weddings, Sukkot, and Hanukkah celebrations for over a decade. Heather writes about the gospel and family history on her blog A Certain Englishman’s Wife. She is an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University in the Marriott School of Management teaching business communications. She received her Master of Public Administration degree at BYU. She currently serves as the Temple Enrichment and Family History Advisor in a Provo YSA ward. Heather and a certain Englishman have five children and one grandchild to whom she is known as Mimi.
