Ever wonder what the home of the apostle Peter might have looked like? Surprisingly we actually know quite a bit about his home, the location for the healing of Peter's mother-in-law.
Messages of Christ’s latest video looks deeper into the story of this unnamed woman known only as the mother of Peter’s wife. She had been severely ill and was healed by the Savior’s touch. The video shows how Christ was willing to break cultural norms by healing her on the Sabbath. Likewise, she too breaks cultural norms by immediately serving Him after she is healed. The video also shows never-before-seen 3D animations of what Peter's home might have looked like based on the latest archeology of Capernaum.
Christ told the Nephites “...I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy” (3 Nephi 17:7). Just as Christ has compassion on Peter’s mother-in-law and the sick among the Nephites, He has compassion for each of us. We too can experience the joy that comes when we are healed by the Master’s touch.
