Book of Mormon Central is pleased to announce the release of our brand new app, ScripturePlus, on iOS. ScripturePlus offers an expansive array of Latter-day Saint scripture resources at your fingertips to get the most out of your precious scripture study time.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are increasingly using mobile devices to interact with the world around them, yet they are not proportionately increasing their engagement with the scriptures. We believe that deep and consistent scripture study is a key to a fulfilling and faith-filled life. ScripturePlus is designed to increase engagement with the scriptures among Latter-day Saints by creating an immersive scripture-study experience.

Among the features currently included in ScripturePlus are:

• New formatting and headings, to improve reading flow and comprehension
• Red-lettering highlighting the words and names of members of the Godhead, making it easy for you to recognize the voice of God in scripture
• Speaker and author identification, so that you never have to wonder who's talking in any given verse
• Quotations from General Authorities and scholars that provide context and insight into specific passages of scripture
• KnoWhys, Book of Mormon Central’s premier publications, which provide analysis of specific passages or doctrinal topics
• Artwork, photographs, and charts to help you visualize the scriptures
• Videos that explain and illuminate passages and themes found in scripture
