One year from now, we are pleased to announce the first Book of Mormon Central Conference Cruise in the Caribbean. For details, see below. This special booking will allow us to share the latest information about Book of Mormon research, the use of the Book of Mormon Keystone interactive scripture app (now in progress), and our remarkable resources in support of the personal study, seminary and institute classes, university courses, social media, and research archiving. Swim with the stingrays and snorkel in Grand Cayman. Try a zip-line ride through the jungle in Roatan or enjoy a day at the beach. In Belize, we offer an exciting river boat ride through the jungle to see the magnificent ruins at Lamanai. Our local LDS guides in Mexico will take us to the beautiful ruins of Tulum from Cozumel. On this cruise you will have opportunities to learn about the latest works of Book of Mormon Central and ways to support this important non-profit cause. About John W. Welch, J.D., Professor of Law
John W. (Jack) Welch is well-known and highly regarded in LDS circles for his insightful studies of the Bible and Book of Mormon, including numerous works on Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, temple studies, the Gospel of Matthew, the parable of the Good Samaritan, the trial of Jesus, and the legal and cultural backgrounds of the New Testament. While serving in 1967 as a missionary in Regensburg, Germany, Jack discovered the remarkable literary form called chiasmus in the Book of the Mormon. In 1970, Jack received a master’s degree in Greek and Latin from BYU, where he studied under Hugh Nibley, Truman Madsen, and Terry Warner. He then spent two years at Oxford Studying Greek philosophy. From there, Jack went to law school at Duke where he an editor of the Duke Law Journal, and also studied with the eminent New Testament scholar, James Charlesworth. He practiced law in Southern California, where he founded the Foundation for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies (FARMS) in 1979. He joined the faculty of the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1980, where he still teaches courses on tax, ancient laws, and Joseph Smith and the law. He has served as the general editor of the Collected Works of Hugh Nibley, on the editorial board of the Encyclopedia of Mormonism, and as co-director of the Masada and Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition at BYU. Since 1991 he has been the editor-in-chief of BYU Studies Quarterly. He has been a bishop twice and has served in a stake presidency. He and his wife Jeannie have traveled widely. They have four children and seventeen grandchildren.

Terms and Conditions
Advertised rates INCLUDE port charges but DO NOT INCLUDE shore excursions, airfare, or gratuities. We will be happy to book your air if you would like–air is available at all major gateways. A $250 deposit, per person, plus the $30, per person, non-refundable reservation fee (1st & 2nd) is required to confirm your booking. Your deposit is refundable until September 23, 2019 when final payment is due. Space can be recalled as early as six months before the sail date so BOOK EARLY!

Passports: Passports are recommended for this sailing. Although we still strongly recommend passports, new regulations allow you to cruise from a U.S. port to the same U.S. port with a certified birth certificate AND a government issued photo I.D. such as your valid permanent driver’s license.
Cruise Lady Activities: If you would like to participate in Cruise Lady excursions or classes, you must book through Cruise Lady.
Ship Information
